Two Years

They say.

Maybe less.

Joker is a wild card

I’ll hold until

the table folds.

Im all in -

chips, reserves.

The game is based

on skill alone.

Well, skill and strategy.

Time cannot

wear me down.

It cannot win.

I’ll play my cards

so careful

and hope all bets

are met or raised.

Joker can mean

winner takes all.

Unless the deck

is stacked.

Joker would have to

throw the game.

Time would have to

force players to fold.

Chips, reserves-

I’m all in.

I’ll hold my joker

until the table folds,

until the final hand,

for years if necessary.

But hopefully, I’ll win this hand in less.
